Impressions...
Posted by Albert
Severino at 11:55 PM (ET)
Second impressions on Deadly Alliance were give by the
guys at MK5.org
reporting live from Midway's booth at E3! It looks that Moloch
was confirmed as being a sub-boss character (no main boss confirmed),
also they found out that Blind Kenshi it's not his name
while the MK team hasn't decided wich will that be. The band Adema
will be playing the Deadly Alliance main song called "Inmortal",
it seems the official MK: DA site at the begining, when it loads
the flash intro, has some fragments of the music to be heard for
you, they say it won't desapoint us.
For
more info on their second impressions of the game go to their
site, as there's lot more to read and know, specially that
they'll be uploading some screenshots between other sweet media,
as a photo of an actress who played Li Mei at the show.

Details on Deadly Alliance at E3!

TRMK updated again with some more information (screenshots) about
MK: DA, these are focused more on the options we may have in the
game menu, here is a piece of what they reviewed:
- Arcade
Typical arcade mode of game play where the single player
battles through a tier of opponents.
- Versus
Typical 1 on 1 kombat for two players.
- The Krypt
- This is the area of the game where you can unlock hidden items
and areas of the Kontent and Extras area of the game.
- Player
Profile This is used to set up multiple player profiles
where itll store all the stats for a given player. Stats
like number of battles won and lost, number of fatalities performed,
and what extras (like hidden characters) have been unlocked.
Player profiles can be changed from the character select screen
by using one of the trigger buttons on the controller to bring
up a personal pin entering screen that will load the player
profile associated with that pin.
- Options
This will be the place to change game options like timer
on/off, controller configuration, and various other game settings.
There is a possibility that they will include an option to allow
Back on the Directional Pad to block instead of using the block
button.
- Kontent
This area will be the place where many hidden elements
will be placed to be unlocked. Elements will consist of behind
the scenes artwork beyond what we have seen online, video and
stills of the production team in action and much, much more.
- Extras
This will have some of the similar elements like in Kontent
but I believe they dont have to be unlocked so itll
feature items like the trailers and other video clips previously
released to the public.
For
further details head on over TRMK
and know a bit more.

at all. Go to their site and download the file, you will like
it.
Also

Hands-On
MK: DA From E3 - Kano is Back!
Posted by Albert
Severino at 3:38 PM (ET)
The guys over at TRMK
has just posted their first impressions on MK: DA, we could
point a few of them: as playable characters in the actual version
are Scorpion, Sonya, Jax, Blind Kenshi (not finalized name),
Quan Chi, Li Mei, Sub-Zero, Shang Tsung; each of them with
a different weapon and two fighting styles to choose from.
Cyrax,
Raiden, Kitana, Kung Lao, a female Sub-Zero, and Mavado
are the disabled characters on the select screen, but also there
are few surprises: we knew yesterday (see main page news) that
Johnny Cage is another returning character, but also the
confirmation of Kano has been done as weel! These last
two are also shown at the select screen as disabled.
Also, it looks
like the Development Team will be adding ring outs and
background interaction in the game, but also, there will
be this nice feature of bullet time animation in the game:
this, like in Matrix or Max Pain. TRMK has more details,
we just wanted to point a few, so, head
on over there and have more!
There's still
much more to come today, so, you know...

While not impressions on the game, we have known that there are
three Xbox and three PlayStation 2 versions of MK: DA playable
at E3, for images on Midway Booth please go to TRMK
and watch those.
We also has
info that the select screen is showing in full, but only with
few playable characters, while the rest face's are not showing,
it seems that it's a 30% completed version of the game, we should
have more info during the hours, stay tuned!
