Mortal Komback: Week #1
While the Fatality Friday is only weeks away, we can't wait no more!

Just 10 years ago we had the great opportunity to play this "realistic" fighting game with digitized actors, where reality went deeper than just the look: hitting a charcater would cause him/her to spil some blood out of the body, winning the match wasn't enough as you could perform this one and unical move called "Fatality", that as you know, terminates your opponent for once and for good!

Whenever a person, which by the way knows almost nothing about videogame, wants to mention a console to play games they say Nintendo, when it's a game they say Mario and, you are right, they also mention Mortal Kombat; not matter if they saw it once or just heard someone else mentioning it. With no doubt, with the entrance of Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat II in the early '90s, this franchise has won a name and its space, that no fighter, no other game will ever delete from this generation. With having mentioning super-excellent games such as MK1 and MKII, Mortal Kombat 3 to MK4 should be mentioned, as well: while this were very good games, specially MK4 which was the first 3D (altough 2D-based engine) with some more fun factor than its predecesor, these were not what the hardcore MK fans expected, not to mention casual gamers and those who dropped the franchise after the second game, and in the beginning of the thirth... Is there time for a Deadly Alliance to change this? We DO beleive so!

Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. You know this is the official fith incarnation in the series, this game via screenshots, gameplay videos and previews all over gaming sites and magazines, promises to be the real Mortal Komback, returing to it's dark sides with a very fluid storyline, starring Quan Chi and Shang Tsung as the Deadly Alliance. The promise of great gaming experience, with 3 fighting styles per characters, unicals, including weapons, gruessom new fatalities... There's so much to say it won't fit in just one colum! With more than 600 (close to 700) extras hidden in a mode called The Kript, where you have to buy hidden items, Deadly Alliance is due to get the longest lastin appeal in a MK game, hopefully in a fighting game.

Blind Kenshi, Mavado, Bo Rai Cho, Nitara (a vampire girl), Li Mei, Hsu Hao, Drahmin and Frost (a female Sub-Zero) will be joining the selection screen of MKDA with Raiden, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Johnny Cage, Sonya, Jax, Reptile, Kano, Kung Lao, Kitana and Cyrax, along the the two deadly Quan Chi and Shang Tsung accross the game pointing to be the best of all Mortal Kombat, and we think, of all fighters! Don't miss out Fatality Friday, it's on November 22, 2002. Prepare your GameCube, Playstation 2 or Xbox for it, or even your Game Boy Advance in December to play this game. We know you'll be waitting with us, and to make time go soonner so we have the game earlier, this is what you have to do:

During this week, untill next, grab a copy of Mortal Kombat 1, no matter if the arcade one, any of the console versions, or even one from Mame; re-read all bios, play it along untill you have watch all endings and therefor reviewed all the moves. Then, get a friend to play it with you and at least one week will be gone like water! We'll try to set you up with another cool idea when Mortal Komback: Week #2 gets here next Friday. Enjoy!
