Komback: Week #2 Number 2 is the key for this week's article on our mini-series Mortal Komback. Would you beleive it's been 4 years since we first had a news about Mortal Kombat 5, now called Deadly Alliance? Yes. I just hope you didn't beleive it will be 2 more years before we play a final version in our homes, I didn't typed that in the tittle, it was, uh, someone else, altough I thought it would be fun. Looks like one can't beleive that just 2 weeks more and everybody will face the reality; Mortal Kombat has really made a komeback! Just 14 days more... Is it Fatality Friday already? No? Well, can't wait, what to do..? Ok, last week the solution to not being bored before the release was playing the original Mortal Kombat, specially if it was the arcade one or in this case, Mame one. I must say it was a fun week by then, picking up Scorpion and pulling his classic spear and then that unforgetable fatality, Flame Fatality, really made my wait being less abrumating. But hey! I just finished the game and that was it, it was amazingly fun getting back to the times when MK used to what it was..now what? ... If you read again the tittle of our second edition of this weekly article you may find a clue, and you are so damn right if you say Mortal Kombat 2! Pick it up, no matter what version of that game you have, just play it and I subject you to take your old GamePro magazines with all those secrets and moves of the game, just to refresh your mind a little. We sure come next week with something else to say to get the wait more interesting, but if you though next solution was Mortal Kombat 3: nope! MK2 is more than enough for the next two weeks, altough it would be interesting to remember how bad MK did with 3, Ultimate and so, even 4 (altough not so bad), I think is better to have a fresh and intact thinkings of Mortal Kombat as the great series that really is, then you'll be playing MK: Deadly Alliance and saying "Wow: MK was, is and will always be Mortal Kombat!". Just don't show your Deadly Alliance game to any Tekken, Virtua Fighter or Soul Calibur lover, and in no way to those who talk in mean way about Mortal Kombat, because then they'll stop talking to you avoiding the fact that you'll be the next months telling them "In Your Face!".
