Power-Up or Power-Grow: That's The Question
Is this the biggest kombat ever, or just the biggest characters you may play with ever?

Earlier today, we had the latest update on MK: Deadly Alliance, coming from the Tokio Game Show (TGS), in Japan. Among few great and interesting new advances that were reported by GameSpot about the game, was also mentioned something that simply "pissed" some fans, ok, all fans! This is the inclusion of a "power-up" move, wich untill now, I know it sounds cool, but the odd thing is that when your character performs this, he/she should actually, ah, GROW in size, word is like a 50% from the original... Before we continue with this review on the situation, check out the following pic, altough not official, it will give you a better idea:

All of this brings this question: "Will I have to see my character growing in size to power-up strengh?", so far, "yes" should be the answer. Around must of top message boards, including our Alliance one, fans are complaining on how this won't look right on the game, just because it doesn't fit with the "more realistic" enviroment that Boon has come to offer after more than 3 years of waiting; wich I'm sure he'll still offer that to us. In my opinion, it does sounds weird, but we do have to see before judging, and here is where start what I want to tell you:

There's not even one single image showing this "move", not a video, either way, altough I asume that by just hearing how it works you can say it's lame (word used by the fans :-)... If you think about how this move is not even finished (in the build showed at TGS), meaning it does not even work as it should be pretended to, this may be what the development team did to make people know that sort of feature will make it in the game, if presented right it will do right, and all fans will welcome it. If it's just the start of a blast of weird things in Mortal Kombat, then we'll just have to get along to it. However, fallow what I say, wait and see, then judge, but never shut up, voice your opinion so that you'll be listened, that is what this section is meant for, as well as the message boards.

Post comments on this topic at the MK Alliance Network, just so we could develope this more untill official and final word come!
