Since I like so much this URL, and since it looks like there's a need
to share space between this and the original (mortalkombatgate.s5.com),
I uploaded the MK: Deadly Alliance section at
the website! You can expect finding updates all over the cover (for those
familliar with it) wich includes some extracted from the GI
cover, for example, a few characters storylines! Also, the News Archive
will be back in short at this URL as well: the rest of the MK Gate
features will be back on April 1st at the original direction; I'll see
how to share all content to become in one.

New
Character Sketch: Moloch

At the official
MK: DA web site have been released a picture of a new character for
Deadly Alliance! By his apparience you can say that easy he's not a human
being; while only the image was released and no word about him has been
given at the moment, at the top-left side says "Moloch: ONI-Destroyer",
now if you remember the GI article (those who read it) the new character
Drahmin is also called "ONI-Tormentor": now that's
a chance for Moloch and Drahmin be related with each other. Let's wait
and see how this evolves.

Gate: Online Monthly Magazine

Yep! You are not reading wrong, MK Gate will have its own magazine
online: Mortal Kombat Gate: Online Monthly Magazine! How will it
work? Well, the pages will be designed as images in JPEG format,
this, for bringing high quality design on the content, better said, "eye-candy-look".
The magazine will be publicied on this site each month, the very first
premier issue will be available on April 1st (hope fully); being
this the first, the most revelant news on MK: Deadly Alliance since
past months will be featured. Click below for a larger version of the
cover!
![]() |
The mission this magazine will have is bringing a resume of the most important happenings in Mortal Kombat during each month, as I said before, the first issue will feature news from past months as well as the actual month's (March). Don't worry, I won't copy/paste the news contained on the site, it will be a high qualified resume of all happenings! It's important you know it's free (of course)! I know what
you are thinking; this will blow out any newsletter you may receive!
As I'm aiming for releasing a complete review of the April issue
of Game Informer
later this week on the site, expect to have that on the magazine
as well, let's hope I can add images on that! Please, send feedbacks
to alb.severino@codetel.net.do
about this, if applies, or visit the Message
Board. · Related Link: MK Gate: Online Monthly Magazine cover |

Multiple
Move-Set

At MK5.org there are
few more details about the Multiple Move-Set on Deadly Alliance,
being their source the GI
issue covering the same; it seems I was wrong when at this site was said
that each character will only have a fighting style, while the multiple
move-set is about each character having the chance to choose from different
fighting styles, adding more versatility to their combos.
While we can't post any images shown in the magazine, I'll try to continue revealing more details printed on the issue.

Details
on the Game Informer Cover of Deadly Alliance

Severino
Here are a few details of the cover on current issue of Game
Informer magazine about Mortal
Kombat: Deadly Alliance: so far, we have 10 confirmed returning characters;
Raiden, Quan Chi, Shang Tsung, Reptile,
Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Jax, Sonya, Kitana
and Cyrax. Three new ones have been revealed: Blind Kenshi,
Malvado and Drahmin (seems like african, with a tribal mask
covering his face).
Fighting Styles: this game is looking good, since the different fighting styles for each character is going right! Shang Tsung: will dominate the Snake style; Quan Chi: dominates the Crane; Sub-Zero: Tae Kwon Do; Scorpion: Tae Kwon Do; Cyrax: Tang Soo Do. Meet the weapons: Scorpion uses a Broad Sword, Jax looks like have a gun on his back! And yes, Scorpion has that sword on his back (that means weapons won't be drawed 'like magic').
The Characters In-Game Looks: hey! Wow; need I say more? Sub-Zero has an agen look, like gray hair but he sure looks colder! Cyrax seems very detailed with a very close look to MK Gold's one (wich isn't bad); Scorpion looks like the one on the cover of GI, very like ninja! Jax, he looks pretty close to that Special Forces look, very nice I'd say!
I'd love to throw you some scans from the issue, but looks like you will have to get your own copy; GI wouldn't let me, even more; I don't know if this article will last much here, so, I'll stop details about it untill new advice! Let's hope I can bring you more on this as I get my copy from the magazine, got to tell you something about a legend...

At the Official

showing Scorpion making some moves and shooting fireballs; but this one
shows a little more and is still quiet interesting and worth downloading
it. Check it out!
