Severino
At Midway's Official
MK: DA site they has just updated with two new sections: Characters
and Arenas (under their Game Info links); the first one
is filled with bios and information on fighting styles of each character
along with the Weapon Combat system, there are four (4) new screenshots
per character and sketches, there are only info for Blind Kenshi,
Shang Tsung and Quan Chi, they'll sure be adding more. The
Arenas section is filled with all three arenas we already know
with the introduction of a new one (really nice, by the way) called Wu
Shi Academy, with storyline typed on; there are two renders available
of this new one. Check back here and there often during the hours and
days!

Don't get confuse, this aint old news: GameSpot

trailer from MK: Deadly Alliance,
this time showing the previously announced new female character Li
Mei, in action! Check some screens below:
In a very related
news, Edge Magazine in it issue #111, has a preview from Deadly
Alliance where they show a new stage called Quan Chi's Fortress
(think's tentative) plus few of the information we happen to know, but
the big thing is, that they mention Johnny Cage as one of the returning
characters in MK: DA! Thanks to MaxDam and Kitana for the
highlight. We'll try to have you more as it developes, hopefuly while
E3 gets here tomorrow.

screenshots of the game with 5 of those appearing to be new! These
images are taken from an early version of the game but worth seeing those.
As for the official

again accessable and you can sure expect updates as E3 gets here, tomorrow,
so, stay tuned over at official site as well as here, since there will
be a lot to be known and seen of Deadly Alliance at E3!
I also make the announcement
that this website is being totally renewed behind the scenes, I will only
mention that it's looking..well, you'll see, and yes, maybe some features
will be added.

Severino
At GameSpot Complete
there's available for download a totally new trailer from MK:
Deadly Alliance! This trailer is way much better than the one with
the PSM DVD, it
shows the game in more advanced development stages than previous, you
can notice this for the new energy bar design, blood and simply smoother
graphics among a few things you might notice. You can also see that characters
can jump and freeze! If you want to judge the game perfomance throug out
this trailer I invite you to do it; you will be able to say NOTHING negative!
Check below some snap shots:

As you may know, the
GameSpot Complete is a payable service, so, unless you hadn't payed
for an account, you won't be able to download this video from them...
Chances are that when E3 is here (Wednesday 22) next week, maybe,
and only maybe, we'll be able to download it for free, or better yet,
a newer one. Stay tuned, as anything is possible MK Gate will have you
in!
UPDATE: our
MK: DA section has been updated with five
new screenshots (thanks to GameSpot) plus all remaining!

New
MKDA Female Character Plus In-Game Video Revealed!
Edited at 11:18 AM: Eastern time - Posted
by: Albert
Severino
The Game Informer
magazine June 2002 issue is streeting now: it has a short but nice
preview of MK: Deadly Alliance, as previously anticipated,
this would feature a new female character, her name is Li Mei:
she's wearing a purple outfit wich is very revealing and happens to be
GI's editor's favorite, "for obvious reasons", they say. Everyone
was expecting to see the so talked female SubZero, we doubt this is she
but later we should find out who she really is. We cannot post any scans
to show her, a pitty, but I was thinking in maybe later posting an artwork
of her (drawn by me) for you to feast your eyes, I promise, I'll be just!
;)
As for the new in-game
video: Playstation
Magazine (PSM) are responsibles for this one, it was released on a
special DVD that came with their new June issue; I have
to say this game looks amazing in full motion! Only that is just a really
early version of the PS2 incarnation, so that you see no blood,
no functional energy bars... I don't know how legal would be posting this
video online, and MK Gate doesn't make responsible but, at MK5.org
they have made available this video for download, hope you enjoy and expect
for more Deadly Alliance this Wednesday 22, May 2002 because
the E3 expo will blow the game out: Stay tuned!

PlayStation
Magazine Picks Up MK: DA Preview!
Edited at 7:11 PM: Eastern time - Posted
by: Albert
Severino
Pick up the June 2002 issue of PlayStation Magazine (PSM)
now! It features a very nice preview with a bunch of MK: Deadly Alliance
screenshots from the PS2 version; simply very few of those has been seen,
but the ones you haven't: you can see and imagine how the game shapes
in pure action, the screens shows lots of blood caused for the hits, besides
you can clearly see that Malvado is wearing what looks like a Black
Dragon symbol in red, good excuse for Sonya and Jax
being there. Talking about Sonya, she's also shown batteling against Malvado,
very nice model... More arenas are also shown (awesome looking if you
pard me), as well as few drops of new information; if you wanted to see
SubZero's masked in-game model, this is the chance!
The magazine also
makes it know, the PS2 version is 40% completed; what should we expect
for the final product, then? Make sure you come by MK Gate later,
as today we may be having more updates on Deadly Alliance!
It's Friday, so there's the chance ;). Thanks to MaxDam for the
tip!
