Game Informer Features New MK: DA Preview
Edited at 3:11 PM: Eastern time - Posted by: Albert Severino
The magazine that brought you the first revealing details on MK: Deadly Alliance in their past April issue will have another preview in the June issue! I have mention from Game Informer that the article is small, but it sure will be appreciated by all MK fans, since it will show by the first time pictures of a previously announced female character; plus in-game shots of Blind Kenshi in action as well as of Malvado; including a returning character.

Chances are that this "previously announced female character" be the so mentioned female SubZero, so, make sure you grab this June issue when it hits streets in only two weeks! Thanks to the people at Game Informer magazine for dropping me this bit of info.

Official Xbox Magazine and EGM Previews MK: DA
Edited at 10:58 PM: Eastern time - Posted by: Albert Severino
Continueing with the magazines' coverages of MK: Deadly Alliance; Official Xbox Magazine has a nice preview of the game on their June issue, where there is information we know and few screenshots, however, it looks like for their next issue there will be a huge coverage of the same, since they're aiming for testing a playable version and preview it! That sounds like we may see the first Xbox screens soon...

In a related note, the new Electronic Gaming Monthly (EGM) has also a preview of Deadly Alliance, non the less, they have new screenshots that can be seen clearer as well as another one showing Kung Lao during the same scene shown at the GamePro one. I suggest you get your hands on the gaming magazines, as there will be more of that in coming issues, all looking like positive.

Kung Lao Lives!
Edited at 5:55 PM: Eastern time - Posted by: Albert Severino
Remember that quote? I do, and it's more real than ever! GamePro Magazine, on their June 2002 issue, has this 1 page preview about Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, they mention things we happen to know already, featuring seven (7) screenshots from the PlayStation 2 version of the game; some before seen on past Game Informer preview. While at the list of returning characters they don't mention Kung Lao as one, there's an in-game screen of Kung Lao fighting versus the new character Blind Kenshi... If you ask me, he really look great, not matter his pose doesn't help seeing in full
.

I suggest you go and grab this new issue; you know scans can't be posted due to copyrights situations. something I have to add; once you see this PS2 screens, you'll just stop thinking how better will the GC and Xbox versions will look, since the Sony machine does awesome with MK: DA graphics!

First In-game Screenshot Revealed!
Edited at 8:57 PM: Eastern time - Posted by: Albert Severino
At the official MK: Deadly Alliance website has been revealed the first in-game screenshot! This one shows what looks like a scene of Jax vs Scorpion in a very nice arena looking like a temple. For the record, I've got to say that the renders we've been receiving all this months make fair justice to in-game look of Deadly Alliance, just look and click below to understand what I mean!

Also, an artwork from new character Blind Kenshi is available as well; it has a recorded line that goes this way: "The eyes that see, can be deceived". Click here (or thumbnail) and check that one as well.

UPDATE: If you care, also, I later made a "retouched" to the Scorpion vs Jax screen, adding the energy bar and timer to decorate so it looks more like a screen, enjoy. Click here to see it!

New Deadly Alliance Artwork
Edited at 8:05 PM: Eastern time - Posted by: Albert Severino
New Kitana and Quan Chi artwork as well as one from Malvado has recently being added today at the official MK: DA website; the one showing Kitana is her masked outfit (cool); while the ones of Malvado and Quan Chi seems like are the ones taken at Game Informer on their past cover story, only that you can appreciate those even better. I would offer you direct links to the images (or thumbnails) but since I'm having OS issues isn't possible, please, click here and see those directly from the site.
