Reptile Shown at PSM - Nitara Revealed - 6 Videos from TGS at GS-- Big Day!
Posted at 9:58 PM, Eastern time - By Albert Severino

Since yesterday, GameSpot Complete released six (6) new videos directly from the Tokio Game Show floor: to resume this news we could make notice of one of them showing the long awaited Test Your Might mini-game, with Scorpion breaking bamboo, sweet looking mode; also, the special moves they were talking about are shown: Cage's shadow kick, Cyrax's timed bombs and yes, the power-up mode, wich doesn't look as bad as you might think if you see it. Kitana is in one of the movies as well, with his blue outfit and fighting with her fans. Check over GameSpot to download these if you are a Complete member.

Now for the other good news you've been waiting for longer: Reptile in shown in several screenshots on the article developed by Playstation Magazine (PSM); he looks just as a reptile, with a tail and metallic spikes over his body, altough you can't see as clear as you wish, I should add he looks pretty cool!

Nitara: she's a new character, she looks really sweet and she's a vampire; I'm sure she'll have a lot of fun in MK with all the blood, and then we could guess what her fatality is. Ok, I guess is safe you could grab the image of her below!

But wait, you have seen NOTHING yet: head on over my two ources on this news, they should have the whole PSM artcle up and running for you! I'm talking about MK Intensive and MKNe websites, have fun, and thanks The-Switcher for the news, along with MKJohn for dropping me the tips. There's a lot in it, even Fatalities!

As promised, we won't only offer you a new design and the continuation of our ever-great features, but we should add more: we now have added the Fans' Gate, wich meant to voice all fans' opinions in only one page, this idea is suggested to be developed so that reaches to the ones who really need to hear what you want to say! Today's topic is "Power-Up or Power-Grow", I think you know what it means, some sort of screen shot is also featured in there. You can participate by sending us the Topic you want to be discussed. Enjoy.

MK: Deadly Alliance New Version Shown in Japan: Hsu Hao Revealed
Posted at 11:30 AM, Eastern time - By Albert Severino

The Japanese company, KOEI, wich has recently got publishing rights on Midway's upcoming games in order to be shown in Japan, recently showed MK: Deadly Alliance at the Tokio Game Show. The version in demostration is a newer build than previous shown to the US press, noticeable changes are found:

Sub-Zero's ice blast freeze is now different from previous installments, because the opponent does not freezes instantly, instead, the character slows down to a standstill as he/she's turned into solid ice; Johnny Cage has his infamous shadow kick, along with other characters, like Cyrax, who has the tosses bombs, just like in MK3. There's also a power-up move for every character, wich increases up to 50% of his/her normal size, then gets inmediatly back to normal: looks like this move wasn't finished at the build.

A new character is mentioned, he's called Hsu Hao, he seems to look like a wrestler with a cop hat in: this character was previously seen at the select screen used at the E3 version of the game, only that blacked out. Test Your Might, from MK1, were present at this demostration, with no changes (at this point) from the original of MK1, wich I don't consider as a bad thing, it could change, though.

If you want more details on this, please, go to the complete article originaly posted by GameSpot.com. Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance is sheduled to release for all next-generation consoles on Friday, November 22 2002, a.k.a Fatality Friday.
